Inspire produced a once in a life time opportunity for not for profit organisation GenerationOne when 7 young ambassadors shone across the Sydney Opera House Forecourt in a special performance at the 2010 ARIA Awards.
Students from Collarenebri Central School in regional NSW won the coveted opportunity to walk the red carpet & perform at the 2010 ARIAs as part of GenerationOne’s “Hands Across Australia Schools Competition.” Inspire coordinated the live performance of their winning entry in front of an audience of 3,000 who crowded the steps of the Opera House.
For the first time, the awards were opened with a ‘Welcome to County” acknowledging the traditional Indigenous owners of the land and presented by Madeleine Madden, the spokesperson for GenerationOne’s Address to the Nation in October 2010.
Inspire secured prime presence for GenerationOne with almost one third of attendees pledging their support for the movement on the day.
